Bullet For My Valentine have released their second single of the month, titled The Last Fight, this time through a music video posted on the band’s MySpace page.
The song is the band’s second single from their upcoming album Fever, which is due for release on April 26th and is their third album; a follow up to the album Scream Aim Fire, which reached #1 in Japan and #5 in the UK.
While the single is technically not out until April, the song’s music video was uploaded to BFMV’s MySpace page earlier today (March 12th).
Guitarist/lead vocalist Matt Tuck told Metal Hammer magazine that recording and producing the album has been ‘brutal work’ but that he had a point to prove.
“Everyone’s buzzing about this one. We just tried to get that energy and excitement and vibe back into the band because the ‘Scream, Aim, Fire’ sessions just ripped our hearts out of wanting to be in a band.”

During touring for the band’s first album, The Poison, Matt fell ill with laryngitis which resulted in him having to have an emergency tonsillectomy in July of 2006. Some critics of Scream Aim Fire felt this had a negative effect on Tuck’s vocals for the album and that he just simply wasn’t ‘up to the job’ anymore.
Nonetheless, Scream Aim Fire was released to much critical acclaim and featured some truly brutal and aggressive vocals.
Judging by what we’ve been allowed to hear so far, Fever should be more of the some metally goodness!
